Let's be honest. The world feels a little chaotic right now doesn't it? It's hard to imagine some kind of overarching narrative, some sort of cosmic plan guiding all of this. It's even more difficult to imagine what our purpose might be in this crazy world, especially when our own shame and failure seems to prevent us from being who we really want to be. Paul's audience in Rome felt the exact same way. They were struggling to understand God's plan for His creation, for them. Paul reminds them of God's might and mercy. In this letter to the Romans, Paul reminds us that we are CHOSEN, and what that means.
